Jen, thank you. He is pretty special. If I could have more and KNOW they’d be just like him, I’d do it. But kids are such a mixed bag. I’d be looking for M&Ms and get a raisin.

I have had discomfort for years due to a medical condition. Today I met a young woman at a baby shower who’s wondering whether she should have a child because of her chronic pain. I told her that I believe my discomfort has helped my children to become better people. There is a purpose–what a blessing to have your son practicing empathy, and acting on his feelings of compassion!
