Sonic Vitality Toothbrush + 2 refills giveaway

vitalityOk, ok. I get it. The response to my other giveaways, since the big Stila one, have been lackluster at best. BUT, the thing to remember here is that the little giveaways were never meant to replace the big ones. I promise. The big ones were supposed to happen once a month, and they are, and the little ones are just to give you guys free stuff.

Feedback is good, though. If you guys aren’t interested in the little giveaways, please let me know and I’ll stop doing them. I don’t want to waste your time reading them or irritating you with them if you aren’t interested. If you are, I’ll keep on with the freebies.

Today, I have what I think is a GREAT giveaway. For one lucky winner, I have an Oral-B Vitality Sonic Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush and 2 refills to help get you through the next 9 months of your oral toothbrushing needs.

I think it’s great because I bought one of these myself and had some stellar results with it. My teeth feel squeaky clean and haven’t looked this good in years. Best of all, the Sonic Vitality Toothbrush has a built in timer, so I’m not tempted to brush fast and run. Which I generally do all the time.

Interested? Awesome. Here is what you have to do to enter for this sweet little gadget:

Here’s how to enter and the types of chances you can take to win:

1) Leave a comment before August 21, 2009 at 5pm CST telling me who your biggest influence has been in your lifetime.

2) For more chances, leave feedback regarding this blog. It can be positive or constructive. You can leave up to 3 separate feedback comments.

3) You can tweet this giveway and/or link it on facebook and/or link to it on your own blog for extra chances to win! Make sure you leave individual comments so all of your entries count.

4) New blog followers/subscribers get one extra chance! Make sure you leave an individual comment letting me know how you are following/subscribing.

5) Loyal blog followers/subscribers (meaning you’ve been here for at least the last week) get three extra chances. Make sure you leave an individual comment for each of these.

So chances are as follows:

New followers: Link blog, link FB, tweeting, 1 just because, 1 for being new and then 3 more if you want to give blog feedback = 8

Loyal followers: Link blog, link FB, tweeting, 1 just because, 3 for being loyal, and then 3 more if you want to give blog feedback = 10

Things to know:
**Anyone may enter as long as I can read your post (must be in English). If your country has rules about mailing toothbrushes that vibrate (???), please do not enter as I cannot guarantee you will receive your vibrating toothbrush.
**Comments posted after the deadline won’t be included in the drawing.
**If you win, you must email me your mailing address within a week of the drawing end in order to receive your prize. I am not responsible for anything that happens once this stuff leaves my hands. If it melts, gets lost, etc., I’ll feel really bad, but I can’t replace it.
**I will be using a randomizer to choose the winner of the giveaway. As long as your answer fits the criteria, you are eligible (unless you are me, Leon or A.J.)

Things to remember here: 1/You can always follow me on twitter to get sneak peeks at giveaways and find out when they are coming and 2/the giveaways are made possible by me.

I’d like to make my giveaways better, but that will only happen if I receive support via my paypal button or my wishlist (not required, but if you are happy with the site and want to support me, that’s awesome), both of which are located on the right hand side of your screen. If you wish to sponsor a giveaway item yourself or promote your own store/site, please contact me. Thank you!

Coca Cola just rocked my world

My life just got INFINITELY BETTER. And so did yours. However, what will happen to those people that have trouble choosing just ONE option out of six when they have the knowledge that they can now choose from over 100 hundred options? I see waiting lines at the drink station.

It’s worth it to have Grape Fanta whenever I want. You know I love some fanta.

Ibiza Rhapsody: Best new gadget EVER for today

ibizaThis week, after months of being on backorder, my Ibiza Rhapsody finally came in. And all I can say is WOOOOOOOOOOOO. This thing is AWESOME. It is 30GB of pure cool. It’s got wifi. It’s intuitive. It’s easy to use. It makes my sansa clip look like a teething toy for babies.

I can look at pictures on it. I can watch movies. I can watch videos. It is chunky enough to feel sturdy and not so big to feel heavy. And, the best part, the noise canceling headphones CANCEL NOISE AND FIT MY EARS.

It’s normally $249 and J & R music on Amazon has them for $149. You can’t beat that. And the screen has beautiful color.

They aren’t paying me to say this. If I didn’t look like crap, I’d take a picture with it with my woo-hoo face. I’m so. freaking. excited about this. If I change my mind, I’ll let you know. For now, WOO HOO! All of my songs, plus 30 pictures and I’ve used 1.5 gb. YES!

Oh, and if you want one and want to click through me and throw me a bone, that’s great. If not, still get one if you have rhapsody. It’s so worth it.

Page Once Personal Assistant: Worth your time?

It’s been a while since I’ve talked about neat things I’ve found online that could influence your life in positive ways. Frankly, it’s because there has been a drought on these items and I’ve been busy talking about other things. Recently, though, a friend of mine wrote a journal on how much she relies on her pda for her life.

For me, personally, I still choose to have a paper planner. I hate typing everything into a computer and syncing it with my blackberry. I like the convenience of having the internet on my phone, but I’m probably not using its full capacity. With that in mind, I’d like to introduce you to the Page Once Personal Assistant.

Take a minute, watch the video and then come back and listen to me for a minute.

What I love: not having to open my blackberry browser to see things. My bb browser is fast, but there are times my immediate gratification must be met NOW. AND, in the video, it mentions that iphone is the only free app, which is true, but you can use the bb app for a free 14 day trial to see if you like it.

According to the site, the benefits of Page Once are:

*Always have a clear financial picture of bank balances, credit card limits and investments
*Avoid late fees by knowing when bills are due and paying them on time
*Enjoy on-the-go access to all your personal information with Pageonce on your iPhone and Blackberry
*Cure password amnesia forever by linking directly to all accounts from Pageonce
*Defend against identity theft & online fraud by being aware of account statuses in real time
*Never exceed cell phone minutes or text messaging limits thanks to Pageonce alerts
*Manage all family members’ frequent flyer accounts from one place
*Track purchases from Amazon, eBay and Costco
*Know what’s coming next from Netflix and be the first to get the latest new release
*Increase the security of your Internet accounts by assigning different usernames and passwords to each account and managing them directly from Pageonce
*Have the ability to call customer service for any account provider with a single click

As a bonus, for every person that signs up, Pageonce will plant a tree through Trees for the Future.

I’ve used it and it’s nice. I think this is going to really click with the people who rely on their pda and travel frequently. For those of us that don’t mind using our paper planners or who have a more laid back style, I think we’ll probably pass…or at least not pay for the privilege.

A premium pageonce account is $9.99/year.

Yearbook Yourself

DSCN0256Ok, everyone’s doing it and being the lemming that I am, I jumped off the freaking cliff. I yearbooked myself. This happened Tuesday night as it was 11:48 pm and I was waiting for the 12 am woot to come up. What? You never know when it will be the bag o’crap?!

So, anyway, I was bored and Leon was sleeping. A.J. was sleeping. The dogs were sleeping. I had insomnia and a woot was coming! So, I gave in. I am ashamed.

In my defense, I was BORED. There was NOTHING GOING ON. It was TUESDAY NIGHT.

*mumbling to herself like a crazed woman who just wants some milk duds*

That doesn’t mean you don’t get to see how I’d look through the ages. I. am. smokin hot.

195019521962
196619721974
197619841992199419962000Look, I know some people think I couldn’t pull off 1994. Here’s why I can: the facial hair. I think it compliments my eyes.

As you can see, I age pretty well. I think I had a couple of these styles, but there is not a chance that I’m going to tell you which ones of them they are. I couldn’t post ALL of my pictures from yearbookyourself, because there were a ton of them and this post is already picture intensive, but you get the hint.

For the record, the woot was cheapie noise activating headphones. *sigh* No bag o’ crap that day, folks, but totally worth the time spent to mess with the toy.
