At night, the troops cease fire

Oh, they put on a show during the day.

Yes, they do.

Scrapping with one another, baring those little fangs, biting ankles and pushing their fat little bodies against one another for “prime couch real estate.”

But when the sun goes down, and the house goes quiet and the boy child goes to sleep and the man drifts off…it’s just them and mommy and reruns on tv…they let down their hair.

Tear down the wall. Break that sucker down. I attribute it all to the magic blanket. That and they secretly adore each other, but don’t let them hear it. They will immediately start chewing each others ears and hiding toys.

About Me
Life is like a game. We all have challenges, thoughts, opinions and beliefs. Often, it feels like something out there, life, karma, catty people, or blue shells (for the Kart lovers), seeks to bring us down. Luckily, we always get up. This is where I wear my heart on my sleeve and my foot in my mouth.
