Since I started writing blueshelled.com, I have been very lucky to have the support of some excellent people. One of those companies is SkincareRx.com. For the last six months, they have been a proud sponsor of my site and have been quietly working behind the scenes to support me in any way possible. Ok, since my last contest only had 4 entries (hello!), here is what I decided to do. I have 2 planners and was going to do separate giveaways, but since only 3 people wanted them, I’m going to give away the 2 planners and a lipstick palette via drawing. It’s that time again! I realized, as I walked through Target’s hallowed aisle’s, that they had decided for me that I needed to be thinking about the future. This came to me as I saw Christmas decor next to the Halloween candy we were picking up to hand out to trick-or-treaters. I winced, as I am determined to live in the here-and-now, right now. Isn’t that how it needs to be sometimes? There are times you just have to go into survival mode and stick with the here and now.
Then again, I already have my planner for next year. I’m a planner-a-holic. I have gone through 4 of them this year alone. I’m pretty content with the one I have now, but I’ve only had it a month or so.
Don’t you judge me.

Fall is my favorite season. I love the clear skies, crunchy leaves, changing colors, and fall reminds me of the first time I fell in love. Fall is a great time of year. What better time to do a giveaway asking you about your fall feelings?
This week I’m sharing an Altec Lansing 360 Travel Speaker that is compatible with most items that have a headphone jack. I actually bought this a while ago in a Two-for-Tuesday on Woot. I wanted one for myself and wasn’t going to use the other one, but justified the purchase by saying I could always give one away to you all. I’m glad I did because I love my speaker. It’s about the size of a can of tuna (lawd, I hate tuna), and it’s about the same weight. I throw it into my briefbag for work and can easily pop it into my purse for school or on the go, as well.
Why bother with one of these? Sometimes you don’t want to wear headphones and other methods aren’t convenient. My office at work doesn’t have a computer and I don’t want to lug around my computer to work to listen to tunes. I have to be able to listen to what’s going on around me, so I can’t wear headphones. Or, if I want to go to the park, and blast my music a bit, I have it. Not that I ever go to the park, but there you have it.
It’s a handy little thing to have and I’m excited about this one. Look at the specs and then enter.
