It’s Saturday! What are you doing today? For me, know that I’m spending today sleeping and being slothful. Likely, I’m soaking in family time and and enjoying time away from school and work. A couple of weeks ago, I stumbled upon a video about an experiment. I have a background in research and I’ve been an avid fan of sociology for a while. What is it that compels groupthink? While watching this, I thought it was amazing that people would blindly follow the instructions and that they enjoyed doing so. It also reminded me that, deep down, we are simplistic creatures who truly appreciate one another.
My favorite part was when the people mimicked someone who had no idea what was going on. Take a peek! And enjoy your day!
Life is like a game. We all have challenges, thoughts, opinions and beliefs. Often, it feels like something out there, life, karma, catty people, or blue shells (for the Kart lovers), seeks to bring us down. Luckily, we always get up. This is where I wear my heart on my sleeve and my foot in my mouth.
